Several surveys and informal studies have explored infidelity by profession. For example, a 2015 report by Ashley Madison, a website known for facilitating extramarital affairs, compiled user data and found that professions such as teachers, entrepreneurs, and real estate agents were common among users, with nurses and other healthcare workers appearing as well. However, this data is self-selected and possibly skewed, as it only reflects those actively using a platform designed for cheating - not the general population. The narrative around nurses may stem from the nature of their work: long hours, emotional exhaustion, and high-stress environments that can lead to complex interpersonal dynamics. Some relationship experts suggest that professions requiring high empathy and emotional labor may experience blurred boundaries between personal and professional connections. #cheater #nurse #sad #women

Vince “Fresh The DJ” Colston, a Black man who uses a wheelchair after suffering a traumatic brain injury and partial paralysis when he was struck by a car while riding his motorcycle, was reportedly forced to stand unaided during a security screening at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. According to his family, airport staff would not allow the search to be conducted while he remained in his wheelchair and even called over a supervisor despite his mobility impairments. His mother said she feared people would see “an angry Black dude with dreadlocks” rather than a man living with a serious brain injury, adding that she was only trying to calm him down during the encounter. His family says he has since suffered more than 30 silent seizures in the past two weeks and has raised concerns about how the situation was handled. Airport authorities have not publicly explained why the screening could not be conducted while he remained in his wheelchair. #sad

🚨Georgia Doctor Jena Salem Strangled, Sexually Assaulted, and Throat Slit by Repeat Criminal With 40+ Prior Charges. Dr. Jena Salem, a medical resident and anesthesiologist in DeKalb County, Georgia, was brutally attacked in her own home in late January. The suspect, Derrick Bernstein, cut her electricity, jumped on her bed, strangled her, sexually assaulted her, stabbed her in the chest (causing a collapsed lung), and slit her throat with a kitchen knife. Despite the horrific injuries, Salem fought back fiercely — breaking the knife blade during the struggle, shoving the attacker off, and escaping to a neighbor’s house for help. The mainstream media (NYT, CNN, Washington Post, MSNBC, NPR, etc.) has remained almost completely silent #sad #jail
