  • 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝟏𝟔-𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 | Murdered Their 66-Year-Old Spanish Teacher Over a Bad Grade — They Stalked Her, Beat Her to Death With a Baseball Bat, and Hid Her Body Like Trash"
    TRAGIC.
In Fairfield, Iowa, a dedicated 66-year-old Spanish teacher named Nohema Graber was murdered in cold blood by two of her own 16-year-old students, Willard Miller and Jeremy Gooddale.
According to prosecutors, the teens became furious after Graber gave Miller a poor grade that was hurting his GPA. Instead of accepting responsibility, they spent two weeks planning the attack.
They stalked her to Chautauqua Park — a place she frequently visited — ambushed her with a baseball bat, beat her to death, and then hid her body under a tarp, railroad ties, and a wheelbarrow.
The brutality of this crime has left many speechless. These were students she was trying to educate. Instead, they took her life over something as common as a bad grade. Both teens were tried as adults and pleaded guilty to first-degree murder.
Willard Miller was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 35 years.
Jeremy Gooddale was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years.
This story raises painful questions about respect for teachers, the value we place on education, and what is happening with our youth. A teacher who showed up every day to do her job paid the ultimate price.
What do you think should happen in cases like this? Should the justice system be even stricter with juveniles who commit such heinous crimes?
How do we protect educators who are pouring their lives into our children?

  • Nicholas LoCicero is a former law enforcement officer who worked for both the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office and the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office. He was terminated by Livingston Parish in 2022 for performance-related issues. He was then hired by East Baton Rouge before being fired in 2024 after authorities received the rape allegations that triggered this investigation.

‎A Livingston Parish grand jury has now indicted him on twelve felony charges: five counts of first-degree r*pe of a child under 13, one count of sexual battery of a child under 13, three counts of indecent behaviour with juveniles and three counts of molestation of a juvenile. The case involves two female victims, with most of the charges relating to the younger child.

‎A judge ordered him held without bond following the indictment.

‎Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill said crimes against children are among the most serious prosecuted by her office.

‎He wore a badge in two separate parishes. The children he is accused of abusing had every reason to believe adults in authority were there to protect them.
